A beautiful, deep, and intense Chardonnay from the Gumans' old-vine vineyard on powdery soil in Coombsville in Napa.
The wine was stomped by foot without any destemming, pressed gently and quickly to neutral Kongsgaard barrels without SO2. The wine fermented in barrel then aged absolutely undisturbed in these barrels for 32 months.
This is one of the best vintages of this wine.
