Offered on the eve of pruning the Guman vineyard, home of The Sylphs, 3 bottles from the 2018 vintage:
The Sylphs: a deep and intense Chardonnay from a tiny, old-vine, vineyard in Napa. Flor-affected, 3 years in barrel . More like Jura and little like Napa.
The Prince in his Caves: our beautiful and emblematic skin-fermented Sauvignon Blanc, from a hillside vineyard on Sonoma Mountain.
FTP-Z: a dark and serious red wine from Tegan Passalacqua's Zinfandel vineyard in Lodi, planted in 1918. Powerful, with good acidity and excellent structure. Not fruity.
