A wine made from the yellow clusters of mostly Grenache and the palest pink and red clusters of Mission and Grenache, without skin contact. Foot stomping, then directly into the press. It is not white at all, but a kind of vibrant, light red. But it drinks like a white wine. It is young, vigorous, and electric. I am so happy to bottle it now and capture its youthful energy.
From our treasured Lone Wolf vineyard, planted to Mission and Grenache and who knows what else. 100 years ago, and then abandoned about 60 years ago.
