A really beautiful Rosé from an abandoned vineyard on the edge of Rancho Cucamonga. The remaining vines are mostly Zinfandel, interspersed with Mission and Rose of Peru. We harvested all three, stomped them, pressed them together, and the put the juice to barrel without maceration. The wine is light, fresh, and intense. The local Zin rosés have a density and a certain savory character that makes them very serious wines.
