We will finalize details on this session in the next few days. Please text or email if you want a place on the waiting list.
The third in a series of 3 seminars led by Brenna Quigley.
In this session, Brenna will be joined by her friend and colleague, Paul Wasserman. They have worked together closely in Burgundy for a decade; this collaboration has flowered most recently in the wonderful Roadside Terroir podcasts of 2024.
We will leap ahead into the geology of some of the most serious and celebrated sites in Burgundy.
I know that I am fascinated by certain natural features (the Combes, for instance) and certain human features (the role of historical quarrying in present day vineyards and farming). Brenna and Paul might have their own foci. In a certain sense, this will not be an introductory session: we are going to jump to some of the most intricate questions, while drinking some very special wines.
For a guide to our pathways in planning this, you might turn to this podcast.
The exceptional price of this session will help us to cover the cost of some exceptional wines.
This event will be held at our winery, located at 2079 E 15th Street 90021, on the edge of the Arts District in DTLA.
