The second in a series of 3 seminars led by Brenna Quigley.
You might wonder why this session is being held off-site and with a conjoined dinner-- our first 12 seats with dinner!
I mentioned to a friend who was coming in from out of town that we were planning this series, and he said how much he wanted to come. He is not only a friend but a colleague who has attended previous 12 Seats, and has helped to prune Lone Wolf.
But he could not attend in Los Angeles on our scheduled night; he was going to be in Santa Barbara. We turned to our friends Ashley and NIc, who own and run NaNa Thai in Buellton, and asked them if they could host us.
The food at NaNa is truly remarkable-- it stands nearly alone in the United States. And their hospitality is also unexcelled. So we asked them to put together a family style dinner that we could enjoy after the seminar.
So: seminar beginning at 7 PM. 7 wines: 2 made by us from the sands of Cucamonga; 5 made from sand, and silex, and other material, made by friends and colleagues in the valleys of Santa Barbara county-- including three from 3 different projects of Raj's.
Followed by dinner at NaNa with wines from their list and some additional special bottles. Ashley and Nic and I have already composed the menu, and it is spectacular.
The $300 ticket price covers everything this evening: the cost of the seminar, the seminar wines, dinner, dinner wines, tax and gratuity.
