I have been working for a couple of months on an investigation of the topic of Natural Wines, looking at it from several different perspectives. The first Lecture on the topic took place in London, on the eve of the trade tasting at the RAW fair. The fourth was only a few days ago in Dallas, and it was particularly good: intense and intimate.
Wednesday, at Henry and Son, we will sit together in a kind of seminar and drink and talk. We will explore the specific topic of the relation between natural winemaking and the passion of the winemaker. We will drink 9 different wines, all of them helpful in seeing what it means to even talk this way.
I am so excited. And I want to emphasize that one of the reasons that I am so excited is for the breadth and quality of the wines that we will be pouring. Here are some of the wines that Gretchen and I have selected for you:
