We had an absolutely amazing experience. Alex Kongsgaard and I, and two companions, hit four culinary centers in Scandinavia and in each of them, presented our wines in formal and informal circumstances. Alex's wines were in general better known; very few people knew mine. But Alex also brought The Judge, a wine that he makes in such small quantities that even their wines' fans rarely have a chance to taste it. And most wonderful, the Judge and the Sylphs come from vineyards only meters away from each other, are farmed similarly, and share very similar winemaking, all learned from Alex's father, John.
All of the wines showed beautifully and made many friends. You can have the same selection that we showed on every stop of the tour:
