A partner to the Prince and a successor to the San Floriano wines from the 2006 vintage in the same vineyard— but much less fierce, more civilized than those wines. We used the technique of the San Floriano Normale and fermented all of the wine in puncheon, without pump-over, and with only light and gentle punch-down each day. We are proud of and charmed and delighted by this wine. “Steverjan” is the Slovenian name for the village in Collio that is the home to Radikon and Gravner, and is at the epicenter of skin-fermented white winemaking.
